Assembling Web Pages

1) Select the Templates

A number of "templates" are provided which can be used to start most projects. These templates are simply files with standard boilerplate for starting a project. The template files and the characteristics of each are described in detail in the documentation on template files. If you are using the standard template files these are:

Web Page Template

Pick a web page template based on:

SVG Template

Pick an SVG drawing template based on

The SVG drawing template and web page template need to be selected together, taking into account the SVG drawing that you intend to create as well as the size and shape of the monitor you intend to display it on. You would normally wish to have the complete HMI visible at once without scrolling. You may need to conduct tests to see what will fit on the target monitor.

Page Layout CSS

This controls the size and appearance of the web page template. You will need to use the page layout CSS file that is compatible with the web page and SVG drawing templates you have selected.

Standard Common Files

You will need copies of each of the standard common files.

User Data Files

You will need copies of the user data files.

Custom Templates

If you are using your own custom template files then you will need to select them by whatever criteria you used when creating them.
