MBLogic Introduction
Overview:
MBLogic is a collection of software packages used for communicating with and controlling industrial processes and machinery. This collection of packages can be used together or individually, as desired. The project consists of the following packages:
MBLogic Soft Logic:
- MBLogic Soft Logic is a complete, stand alone industrial control platform, incorporating soft logic, web based HMI, field IO connectivity, system management, on-line help, and integrated web based programming tools.
MBLogic Tools:
MBLogic Tools can provide a stand alone web based HMI solution, as well as add advanced features to traditional PLC applications and also be used in testing, commissioning, and troubleshooting applications.
- HMIServerMBC - Allows a web based HMI server to be added to any Modbus/TCP server (PLC, field I/O, etc.). This provides the same web HMI capabilities from MBLogic in a stand alone package.

HMIServerMBS - Provides the same web based HMI
capabilities as HMIServerMBC, but in a Modbus/TCP server.- MBAsyncServer - A simple Modbus/TCP server.
- MBProbe - A web based menu driven Modbus/TCP client. This provides an easy to use means of testing, troublshooting, and commissioning Modbus/TCP field devices such as valves, sensors, and PLCs.
- PollMB - A command line Modbus/TCP client.
- PollWS - A command line client for a Modbus-like web service.
MBLogic Libraries:
The components used in creating the MBLogic automation platform are also available as libraries for creating your own custom applications.
- SimpleClient - A simple Modbus/TCP client library which may be used to create applications.
- SimpleClientWS - Like SimpleClient, but for a Modbus-like web service.
- MBLogicEngine - A soft logic system modelled closely on existing popular PLCs.
